An intimate concert with the then 93-year-old violinist Ivry Gitlis. That experience changed something in me and my approach to playing the violin.

WHAT DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE IN YOUR BAG
Mess. I rarely turn my bag upside down, I’m always surprised by what I actually carry around every single day…among others a picture of my late grandfather in Søby Brunkulslejer, a can of peeled tomatoes (!), my grandmother’s amber necklace and a broken easter letter.

I don’t really have a bag, but a net, which is practical, because then you can always can get your grocery shopping done. In my photo bag there are always keys (without them I panic), a snack, and money.
